As the Senior Brand Account Manager, you’ll be an essential part of our Marketing (Principal Accounts) team, reporting directly to the Head of Commercial. Your role involves managing a portfolio of brands within the company while serving as the primary point of contact for your assigned Principals. You’ll be responsible for executing brand marketing and commercial plans, collaborating closely with Sales Managers, National Account Managers, and our wider team to meet established KPIs and growth targets.
- Develop comprehensive brand plans that align with the strategy and priorities set by our Brand Partners.
- Cultivate strong relationships with Brand Partners, ensuring daily communication and high levels of service.
- Manage Principal review meetings, ensuring the delivery of excellent service and commitment within specified deadlines.
- Strictly manage and adhere to marketing budgets, delivering on agreed targets and customer/brand promotional activities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional activities to inform future plans and enhance return on investment.
- Lead the implementation of new product development, identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of relevant categories and the competitive landscape, providing regular updates on competitor activity for Principal reviews and reports.
Experience & Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in marketing or retail account management.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, supported by analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, including budget management.
- High-energy self-starter with a collaborative spirit.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the Irish grocery sector or FMCG and with major customers.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets for growth.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
