Job Description

I am looking for a Senior Big Data Developer with 5 years of experience working in software development and with Java to join a great client in Dublin City Centre for a 12-month contract.

Requirements:

  • Degree in IT-related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience working as a software developer
  • Experience working with Java and as a full-stack developer
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React
  • Experience in API development
  • Experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL, RDBMS
  • Experience working with big data essential
  • Experience working with AWS such as Elastic Beanstalk, EMR, SQS, EC2
  • Experience with processes and full SDLC
  • Experience working with Scrum, Continuous Integration, Git or other
  • Provide guidelines and mentor other engineers
  • Act as a champion and research innovative technologies in open-source
  • Expertise in the design and development of data-driven application
  • Experience with Hadoop advantageous
