Job Description

My large Financial Services client is looking for an Azure Engineer to join their growing team, on a Daily Rate contract basis.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and build landing zones in Azure for new projects and environments in the financial services industry
  • Implement Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management and automated deployments
  • Work with Azure networking and Fortigate firewall technologies to ensure secure and reliable access to resources
  • Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code management and automation
  • Experience with ExpressRoute for secure and reliable connections to on-premises resources
  • Communicate at a senior level with stakeholders and clients in the financial services industry on project design and progress

Experience Required

  • 4+ years of experience in an Azure Engineer role, preferably with experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong experience with Azure networking and Fortigate firewall technologies
  • Experience with designing and building landing zones in Azure
  • Expertise in Terraform and CI/CD pipeline management
  • Experience with ExpressRoute and other hybrid connectivity solutions
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements specific to the financial services industry

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially at senior level
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Educational Requirements

  • Third Level degree or relevant qualification
  • Azure certification is a must
