Job Description

Our respected international corporate client is looking for a talented Application Support Engineer to come in and join their existing team in supporting over 1000 staff globally.

Our respected international corporate client is looking for a mid-level Application Support Engineer to come in and support their existing team. The candidate will be joining a busy team who support almost 1000 staff globally. This is a permanent role operating a hybrid model based in Dublin

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing tickets and incidents, escalating where necessary to IT Application Managers
  • Analysis of DevOps related tickets and service desk ticket trends to develop efficiencies and improve procedures
  • Manage and maintain the technical documentation and ensure that procedures are inline with the information security standards.

Skills required:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar Application Support position
  • Experience with supporting ERP and CRM systems
  • Prior experience working on/ in a Helpdesk environment
  • Previous experience managing active directory
  • Earlier experience and understanding of the Microsoft stack (365)
  • Experience assisting with tickets relating to end user installation issues

 

Other desirables:

  • Previous experience with SQL
  • Power BI Experience

 

Education:

  • 3rd Level degree in a related field from a recognised institution
