There will be shift work/ times involved in this role due to dealing with the US

Responsibilities:

  • Offer support to customers, addressing software and technical issues tied to application functionality, performance, and configuration.
  • Collaborate with DevOps team members to analyze problems, identify root causes, propose solutions, and work on preventive measures for recurring issues.
  • Proactively monitor application performance and address potential concerns.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers during issue resolution, ensuring satisfaction and a positive experience.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex issues, providing support to team members on troubleshooting techniques, product knowledge, and DevOps practices.
  • Work closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to align support with DevOps practices.
  • Contribute to improving DevOps processes through automation, monitoring, and continuous enhancement.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and actively contribute to enhancing the support workflow.
  • Assist in defining and evolving the monitoring system, utilizing Infrastructure as Code and Azure Monitor for system reliability.
  • Contribute to the automation of the CI/CD process and support deployments, rollbacks, testing, and production tasks.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, issue resolutions, and best practices to create a comprehensive support team knowledge base.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or similar field
  • Bring experience in senior application support roles within Enterprise or SaaS companies, focusing on complex software or ERP query troubleshooting.
  • Possess strong knowledge and experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, particularly Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Azure Cloud.
  • Experience in defining metrics, SLI’s, SLO’s, and utilizing them for rollbacks and disaster recovery processes.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and proficiency in Root Cause Analysis reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and technical/non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and automation implementation.
