Job Description

Application Support & Development Analyst required for Permanent role with Top Financial Services Company based just outside of Dublin.

The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  • Receiving / logging support calls and issues
  • Analysing problems, including root cause analysis
  • Communication with other system support teams
  • Manage the handoff of production support issues to third parties
  • Developing data fixes using SQL scripts
  • Implementing scripts and code/data fixes
  • System, Functional and Integration Testing to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and production
  • Regression testing


Essential skills for the Application Support Analyst:

  • Production Support/Development experience or similar
  • Experience of writing SQL scripts
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Financial Services experience is desirable.
