AI/ML Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with team members as well as external clients
• Create work products to a high standard
• Have an in-depth knowledge of the services on offer to clients and identify areas in which there are opportunities to improve services for clients
• Offer training and mentoring to develop less experienced members of staff
• Remain open to learning new best practices and continue to improve and strive to develop your skills further
• Be aware and follow workplace policies

Skills required:

• Strong problem solving and presentation skills
• Proficient in data analysis and data exploration
• Ability to recognise where a variety of ML techniques are applicable to business issues
• Proficient in writing clean code as well as excellent Python Programming skills
• Great knowledge of various ML frameworks such as Theano, Tensorflow
• Knowledge and understanding of cloud-based tools
• Strong prototyping skills
• Knowledge and understanding of design principles, methods of best practice as well as basic algorithms
• Exposure to cloud architectures and automation/ digital transformation
• Aware of Software Development Life Cycle
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education:

• Relevant post grad education
• Relevant academic background in a computer science focused area
