Job Description

Our client is currently recruiting a Accounts Receivable Specialist position. They are an Irish PLC. This is a Permanent role with hybrid working.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collection of debtor accounts
  • Weekly Debtors reconciliations/Excel
  • Customer query resolution
  • Management of weekly / monthly direct debits
  • Weekly/Monthly close off for debtors
  • Attend weekly meetings with Team Lead/Credit Manager to discuss debtors collection progress and escalate problem issues
  • Weekly update on bad debt provision where appropriate

Experience Required

  • 1-3 years of experience in Credit control
  • Strong verbal and written, including the ability to communicate confidently.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with various departments throughout the organization
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and a high level of attention to detail.

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or working towards
