A Website Designer will create the look, layout, and features of a website. The role involves understanding both graphic design and computer programming. Once the website has been created, it will be the role of the Web Designer to help with maintenance and additions to the site. A Web Designer will work closely with teams or managers so that the site is kept up-to-date.

The duties and responsibilities of Web Designer will cover all aspects of website creation, and upon receiving an organisations requests, Web Designers will help create and maintain the product, as well as determining technical requirements and coding. A Web Designer may also assist on an already existing website, and help with digital retouching and image editing.
