As the workplaces adopt alternative forms of learning, the role of an Instructional Designer will not only be required to develop structured courses but enable a supportive environment in which individuals can learn. Therefore, it is beneficial for Instructional Designers to have an understanding and experience of online community management, in addition to keeping up with the developments within this area of expertise.
