A strong interest in the games industry is essential for all roles and tasks. Game Developers need a range of skills which include, a technical mind with the ability to utilise a range of programs, effectively working in a team, solving problems, self-motivation and can work to deadlines. Often, qualifications are required, at degree level and in a subject that is relative to the role, although occasionally, previous experience and passion for the sector is adequate.
